Thorough, Compelling Study That Focuses on Both the Humanity and Significance of Aragorn

This is a detailed undertaking and a must-read for all fans of Tolkien's Middle-earth and his Ranger-Warrior-King. Great care is taken to show the vital place Aragorn holds, not only in the great quest to destroy the One Ring, but also in Tolkien's legendarium. Often overlooked or underestimated by those who focus on other heroes such as Frodo, Sam, Gandalf, et al., this book makes a compelling case for the necessary and heroic role played by Aragorn.

Don't be intimidated by the length of this work; the author writes with an engaging and interesting style. Highly recommended!!

This book is a large 8 x 10 book. It is about 1 inch thick on good quality paper. The data contained in it is detailed and interestingly presented. This book is a must for serious "Ringers" and Tolkien students. A good read.

A compelling character analysis of Aragorn. Full of details, references and thoughtful commentary. A must read for those who love Middle Earth. I wish she would consider tackling some of the other characters from LOTR or the Hobbit, as she has done a masterful job with Aragorn. I always loved his character but I have a greater appreciation after reading this book.i reread LOTR with new insight right after reading this book.

Questionable Value

This is a short introduction to leather-working. After purchasing it, I found that simply watching YouTube videos and reading free information gave me much more information than this ebook. I was hoping for more illustration. You will be disappointed if you are any degree of visual learner.

The only upside to this is possibly taking it with me to a leathercraft store (assuming I remember my kindle).

Summary: if you already have an introductory leatherworking book, or are comfortable perusing the internet, skip this book.

Great Leather Craft Book - How to Work Leather

This hobby has fascinated me since I was in the Scouts, years ago. But I'm a newbie in working with leather. This book gave me some great ideas, with step by step instruction. It really covers the whole process from buying leather to tooling, stitching and making projects. I'm looking forward to putting this teaching to work. I'm glad I found this to help me out.

Excellent Historical Fiction!!! Couldn't put it down!

But what if war was perpetrated for the wrong reasons? This question is the single most important driving force behind the Scapegoats. In this novel, this tragic war is turned upside down, recreated in a mind-blowing and captivating story sprinkled with history, mystery and romance.

S.R. Pessoa has assembled a terrific plot that will please both conspiracy buffs and thriller addicts. Exhaustively researched, the Scapegoats explain in great detail the context that led to the eruption of the First World War, while involving the reader in an amazing cat-and-mouse chase across all of Europe in the search for the answers to the mystery that Michel de Villenborg unearthed.

I loved the writing, and the way the different story lines are written separately, but come together at the end. The Scapegoats will keep you on your toes up to the last page.

Outstanding debut novel!

It is hard to believe this is his first book. "The Scapegoats" is a very interesting and memorable historic thriller. As his first book, the author does a phenomenal job with its flow; where he intricately layers detailed research into a very smart plot. If you like history, some romance, and mystery, this is the book for you. It brings so much historic context within the novel, gets you close to the characters and describes the places in rich details that makes you want to check out the sites yourself. An outstanding debut Novel and I cannot wait to see what he will bring us next! I highly recommend it!

A Must Read!

I loved this one and couldn't put my kindle down. Well written and thoroughly researched, this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Pessoa blends the best of Dan Brown, John Grisham and Michael Crichton, but takes it all to an even higher level of intrigue and suspense. There is something in this book for everyone. A must read!

Horrible translation.

The translation is so bad that this book is almost unreadable. It looks like someone took the original book written in german and passed it through google translator. It contains no editing what so ever, and some figures look like poor quality scans. I also have to add that this book has examples, but no exercises. This is not bad, but it must be said. The content of the book is not bad, but it could have been explained in way less than 700 pages. Again, lack of editing.

My recommendation: check it out (read some chapters) before you buy it. With the amount of free lecture notes, and available books on fluid mechanics I do not know why someone would want to buy this book.

Good material.

The material contained in this book is very good and very readable. I recommend this book for sure. My only complaint is the printing quality. The text seems like it's of very poor resolution (it's 'hazy' looking). In other words, it looks like their printer was running low on ink when they printed this book out! However, the quality of the material presented in the book is good, and at the end of the day--that is what's important.
